Who is a typical Avea Financial Planning client?

With 16 years of experience in professional wealth management, I have developed expertise in helping a specific type of client.

  • You or your partner is retired or within a couple of years of retiring.
  • You, your partner (or both!) work at and plan to retire from PNNL.  We work with non-PNNL employees as well.
  • You want a high touch, personalized wealth management experience.
  • Be eager to refer us to anyone you know who fits my profile.
  • You are a financial delegator so you can spend time doing more meaningful things in your life and appreciate having one advisor coordinate all financial things.
  • You also want to be a “big fish” within our select client community limited to 25 households.
  • You have a minimum $600,000 in investable assets and you want to engage in an ongoing relationship with a trusted fiduciary advisor.
  • You look at life like a glass that is half full and would describe yourself as an optimist.

Fee

  • $500 one-time fee to get started.
  • $9,840 annual fee, billed quarterly from assets.

The flat fee includes investment management on $500,000 to $3,000,000 as well as annual tax planning and filing your individual federal tax return. Fee will be higher for complicating factors, like a family business, complex real estate holdings, etc. and for assets above $3M. The flat fee will be re-evaluated every one to two years.

Many other firms charge between 1% - 2% of assets managed.  As your assets grow, so does your fee.  Forever.

Here are a few examples to help illustrate the costs:

Rowan and Kyle have a portfolio of about $2,345,000. Their flat annual fee is $9,840 with approximately $2,460 billed every quarter directly debited from their investment account (equivalent to about a .42% fee on assets managed).

Julianna has a total portfolio of about $745,000. Her flat annual fee is $9,840 with approximately $2,460 billed every quarter directly debited from her investment account (equivalent to about a 1.32% fee on assets managed.)

Oscar has $5,800,000 in investable accounts. His flat annual fee is approximately $14,340 with approximately $3,585 billed every quarter directly debited from his investment account (equivalent to about a .25% fee on assets managed.)
