Women’s Circles

Angie Furubotten-LaRosee, CFP® and founder of Avea Financial Planning, is excited to host a Women’s Circle in November.  We’ll talk about all things financial but focus on believing in our limitless potential.

Women’s Circles are a way of creating a safe space for women to talk about personal finances.

When: Mon Nov 19, 2018
Time: 6:00 pm for about 1.5 – 2 hours.
Where: Barley’s BrewHub
Address: 3320 W Kennewick Ave, Kennewick, WA 99336
Angie’s cell: 509-366-0032
RSVP:  You can get your complimentary tickets here or call/text/email or use Facebook RSVP by Sun March 18.

Event is $0 but seating is limited to about 10, RSVP required.

Come early and enjoy to eat or drink at Barley’s.

My sister and brother-in-law, Shari & Tom, own Barley’s and they have been gracious to let us use some space for our women’s circles.

What do we have available to pay for college?
How do we determine our budget for college?
How do we establish a maximum student loan amount?
Understanding the FAFSA and how your EFC is calculated.
How to have the Money Talk with kids.
Where can we get financial aid and scholarship money?

Attendees will leave with two key takeaways.

We will answer parents’ biggest questions about college.

The FAFSA, Free Application for Federal Student Aid, starts October 1 every year.

All families should do the FAFSA, even if they think they won’t qualify for financial aid.

Attend this workshop to learn:
– how the FAFSA determines your Expected Family Contribution (EFC) so your family can know how much financial aid to expect.
– know what documents to have on hand to complete the FAFSA
– walk through key parts of the new FAFSA
– common mistakes to avoid

Complete the FAFSA to maximize your eligibility for financial aid and institutional scholarships.
